I actually liked the first one better. It is so funny to me that people can read the same books and get something totally different from it. I really miss book club for that reason. I loved the characters and family dynamic of the first book. I loved watching the changes that occured in the characters after the Try and they realized that life wasn't going to be what they expected. I loved Nown in the second book (was he in the first one too?) and I too toally agree that the entire last 3d of the book I was 1) really worried they wouldn't tie up all the loose ends and 2) that it was going to be super sad. Not that I mind sad endings mind you (as long as they aren't emotional manipulative), but happy endings are better. I had a harder time getting into the second book at first because the story was split between too many characters and each one had only a short time to speak before it swtiched to another one. I always have a hard time getting into books like that.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08538681360658347477noreply@blogger.com
